Food and Supply Drive for Local Nonprofits
Craig Ranch Fitness to Hold Ribbon Cutting, Kick Off Food and Supply Drive for Local Nonprofits
MCKINNEY, Texas — Community leaders are invited to a socially distant ribbon cutting at Craig Ranch Fitness & Spa on Aug. 13, where staff will unveil the club’s renovated lobby and kick off the CRFS Youth Center’s first day of Social Distance Learning.
The day of celebration is an open house for limited guests and a coming together for our community. From Thursday, Aug. 13 to Sunday, Aug. 16, the club will also hold a food and school supply drive for local organizations.
The ribbon cutting will begin at 11:30 a.m. in the facility’s foyer, where a limited number of guests will be the first to see the space’s renovations, including a new concierge-style front desk. Afterwards, distinguished guests will be invited to tour the facility as well as enjoy some snacks at Honeylu’s Coffee.
Starting at 9 a.m., we will kick off our food and school supply drive for Collin County nonprofits Minnie’s Food Pantry and Community Lifeline Center. From Thursday to Sunday, locals are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items and common school supplies to our parking lot to support their neighbors in need.
At Craig Ranch Fitness, we are dedicated to supporting community members not only with their fitness goals, but also with their success at work, at home, and in their daily lives. Keeping with this mission, we are offering Social Distance Learning, an education program beginning Aug. 13 that allows a limited number of students to spend their school days at Craig Ranch Fitness. Through the program, students will complete their school district-directed coursework virtually from spaced-out classrooms at our facility, staying safe while also having a chance to socialize with their peers.
At 4:30 p.m., members and guests are invited to wish kids well from a distance at the end of their school day with an outdoor, spread-out pep rally.
